I just returned home from a stay at Port de Plaisance...like another traveler, my home resort wasn't finished with building yet. I was with my sister and a friend, and we typically just need a space to nap, shower, and change clothes, so it was perfect for that. The 1-bedroom condo was clean, and spacious enough for us all to... more

My wife and I stayed here in Feb. 2009. we were both pleased and dissapointed with the condition of the resort. There were three restaurants associated with the main resort, including The Peg Leg Pub"the best steaks on the island". There were three restaurants in the Casino, and a buffet. The casino is definitely the cleanest and best run on the... more

Our Time share wasn't built yet so we were put up in the Princess Port De Plaisance. First there were tiny little bugs all over the counters, when we called the desk they were really helpful they sent up a can of bug spray. Then everyday we had to call and beg for towels as we were 4 adults and... more

This hotel was a nightmare from the start. We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by numerous cats lurking in and around the front lobby. When we finally got our room (rather quickly) we were escorted to the very back of the property. It seemed deserted. We passed the pool, there were no chairs out, no pool attendants and... more

This resort is a disgrace. It is in need of complete renovation. The Spa manager tried to scam us stating that the brochure she handed to us had incorrect price (Even though the brochure was on the countertops of the spa). The sink faucets leaked. The room needs painting. Walls chipped and stained everywhere. The tub was clogged. After 4... more

We stayed there for 5 nights as guests of friends who booked a 2BR, 2 BA suite. The location was good, but to go anyplace on SM, it is a long drive, especialy in the busy times. The roads are awful, mostly potholes and speed bumps. The hotel itself looked good on the outside, with a guard at the bridge... more

Rooms - Old, musty smell with little updates. Service - Terrible they either took their time showing up or not at all. Our fan didn't work, we never had washcloths, our cable TV got 3 channels. Zee Best Breakfast-need more than 1 serving staff and watch out the danish trap, you think they are complimentary but they aren't $10 usd,... more

We arrived early on Saturday August 11 and were told that we could get breakfast at ZEE Best this place was small and outdoors very hot. Pastries were good. We were immediately concerned and walked around facility it was dirty and in complete disrepair. We immediately went to front office and tried to call RCI to see if we could... more

I just returned from 9 days at the Princess Port de Plaisance Resort. After reading many previous reviews, I was really concerned that it would be a mistake, but it was a RCI exchange and I have not been disappointed in the past. This was low season, the resort was very quiet - not all was open. The pools were... more

We traveled to the PDP on a timeshare exchange. Based on the reviews I read before we left, I was very worried about the conditions we would find. We've been to St Maarten twice before (Royal Islander and Flamingo) and knew that we would have preferred a beach location, but needed 2 bedrooms and PDP was the only offering that... more
