We were on top (4th) floor, street side. Balcony was well shaded and pleasant to sit there on hot afternoons. Good food but service was spotty. Great location in the middle of town. more

Downtown is worth a visit during daylight weekdays, but don't stay in a hotel downtown for a vacation. This is really the only hotel downtown. The others are looked like Motel 6 and had weekly rates. Downtown caters to the cruise ship industry. Cruise ships typically arrive in weekday mornings and leave by 5pm. The shops cater to selling jewlery... more

I would start by saying don't book a room through Expedia for this hotel because you can't leave early as they charge you in advance. My husband and I just returned from 8 days in St Martin.
