We stayed at the pelican B building b352--we had a loooong walk up the hill, but they provided vans to take you if you didn't want to walk. (like carrying groceries). Pelican Resort in St. Maarten is a time share. Simply put, the older units are fine, clean, but old timeshares. You are on vacation, and hopefully not spending much time there anyway.
