We returned 6/27 from a weeklong stay at The Reef Resort. We chose The Reef based on reviews posted here on Trip Advisor. We are so glad we stayed here. The location is the best you can get. We could go out to the beach at any time and never have a problem getting chairs. The beach itself is wonderful;... more

Delayed report - we stayed here in April over Easter week. Great weather, very nice resort, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet resort that has lots of activities for those who want them. Contacted them ahead of time about arriving at noon (normal check-in at 3) and when we did the front desk handed me the keys.... more

My trip to The Reef is absolutely my favorite vacation - it was the perfect tropical escape! I was initially apprehensive about travelling alone to Grand Cayman, but The Reef was fabulous! I read all of the reviews, so I was prepared for the fact that the beaches have a lot of coral and was not sugar-smooth. Definitely take good... more

My husband and I just returned from our 6th trip to The Reef Resort. It was 7 nights of pure heaven. You'll be relaxed the moment you arrive. The Reef Resort sits on the most beautiful and pristine beach I've ever seen. The Best snorkeling in the World is right at your doorstep. The Staff at The Reef will take... more

We arrived 5/21 before the check in time and the front desk immediately check us in without any issue, we got a room at the far end of the resort and when we try to get in both our key cards were not working, thank goodness for the maids that were cleaning near our room I was able to ask... more

We just got back from the Reef Resort, and it was an excellent experience! The weather was perfect - hot and sunny, with a wonderful breeze. It was not windy at all. We had the deluxe studio room, and it was spotless, as were the grounds. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The snorkeling was great -- no... more

First of all the wind was not an issue. In fact it's so hot there that the breeze is what makes it bearable. I too read in many reviews that the wind was an issue, but honestly we did not experience that. The resort itself is beautiful and the rooms are great. The units right on the main floor with... more

Our daughter was married at the Reef Resort in March 2009. "Exceeded my expectations" would be an understatement. The resort is on the quiet end of Grand Cayman---a scenic 40 minute drive from the airport. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. Every room faces onto a beautiful beach. What a joy it was to drink coffee on the... more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful trip to the Cayman Islands and the Reef Resort from May 11-18. Many other eviewers are correct in that the resort is located on the less-traveled, less touristy, less crowded and quiet part of the island...and that made it absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation... more
