We've just booked our third stay at The Reef in the last 3 years......so this is in fact a preview based upon our past visits. We expect a beautiful, clean room with an outstanding view.  Service will be, as usual, top notch and the food will be excellent.. If you want a laid-back vacation in a truly beautiful setting....this is... more

My husband and I just returned from a week long stay at Grand Cayman for our second anniversary. We booked the Reef based off of the reviews on this website, as well as the pictures posted. The Reef did not disappoint. We had booked a one bedroom condo as part of an internet special. The room was very large, clean,... more

We had a great time at the Reef this past April. The resort is at the far eastern end of the island, as far away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach as you can get. The resort is a beautiful, new facility. All the rooms face the ocean. Our room was clean and roomy. The staff was... more

My husband and I just returned from our week long honeymoon at The Reef and did not want to come home. We based our decision to stay here on many of the review we read on this site and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the deluxe studio suite and found the room to be very nice and spacious.... more

My wife and I just returned from an April 28-May 5 stay at the Reef. Thanks to the Trip Advisor comments. You were all on the money, as usual. We stayed in a comfortable studio in this all-beachfront resort. The winds were pretty strong, as others attested until the fourth day of our trip. They subsided enough to allow snorkeling... more

This is a tough one. I read all the reviews and did all the research before picking The Reef and, even though I am not a resort person, I thought from my research that this might be our kind of place: off the beaten path, 45 minutes from the main tourist hub, and sitting right on the beach. It IS... more

This was our 1st trip to Grand Cayman. We loved it so much we want to go back next year. The Reef is quite a drive from the airport, but well worth it to escape from the real world for a few days. The ocean views and sunrises were spectacular. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful we've ever... more

The Reef Resort is located right on the beach on the East End roughly 40 minutes from the airport. Our one bedroom unit opened right to the beach and we felt like we had our very own beach house. The living area has two murphy beds that our teenage son found very comfortable to sleep on and easy to put... more

The service was excellent, especially from the concierge staff and outside bar staff. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. The room amenities were new and excellent. The location, away from the populated end of the island, was great; little traffic and no beach vendors. more

My fiance and I stayed at the Reef Resort last June in order to plan our upcoming wedding. We found the drive from the airport to be scenic and beautiful- staying on the East End of the island tends to be a lot less touristy, less crowded, and much more relaxing. The Reef itself is what you would expect from... more
