We traded our RCI week for Morritts Tortuga for the week of October 23 - 30th. We were lucky because the weather the week before was rainy. I assume that it can be rainy during the latter part of October. We absolutely loved the infinity pool at the Grand and met some wonderful people. Great for socializing between the hot... more

The people of Grand Cayman are so warm and friendly. Most of the staff at Morritt's were great, particularly Martin and Rosanne who were our servers at the restaurant David. Rosanne, made you feel like family and Martin was just top notch in amazing service. We had the smallest unit, studio. Even having just a studio it was roomy for... more

First time in Grand Cayman, but have traveled extensively to other Carb. islands. Morritts is a time share with NO pressure to buy, no beach vendors, and unfortunarely little beach. Suites clean, appliances new, yet unless you own a high end suite your only view is another building. Buffet (one night) costly and all food luke warm to cool, even... more

My son was injured during one of the resort sponsored events. Required transport to the hospital, stitches in his head, and unable to participate in any water sports the entire rest of the vacation. The resort was totally uncooperative in taking any responsibility, I had to go to the office multiple times to even get information on the person who... more

We stayed at Morritt's last week. We had a wonderful time everyone was so friendly. We were lucky and stayed on the first floor and had an ocean view. The room was great it was a one bedroom with a kitchen. There is a grocery store with in walking distance. We rented a hobie and went sailing one day and... more

I traveled with my husband and two young boys (6 and 4) and would go back in a heartbeat. I will say that 4 is probably the minimum age that I would want to travel with to this resort/island. Anything younger and I would have spent all my time worrying about someone falling in the pool, over the edge of... more

We were very impressed with a ring that was presented at Morritts Tortuga by Goldsmith Jewelers. The ring was valued at $7250 and 1.75 Carat so we were told. We did purchase the ring and had it appraised in the states. The ring appraised at $2800 and was just barely 1 Carat and not 1.75 as we were misled. I... more

We just returned from a week at Morritt's. Based on the reviews and comments on the RCI website, I was expecting a mediocre, pool-side room since we are not owners here and this has been our experience in the past (we have had timeshares on St. Croix, St. Maarten, and around Hawaii). Apparently this is the off-season and we lucked... more
