George and Maureen are very gracious hosts. Perfect spot for relaxation with pool, screened porch, hot tub, and hammock. Close enough to beach but far enough away from hustle of the cruise ships. more

Firstly I would recommend are car if you are going to make the most of staying here and on the island. I could not have asked for more staying at the Shangri La. The staff were always pleasant and friendly and the room and house was spotlessly clean. You felt you were not just a guest. The breakfast consisted of... more

We stayed at Shangri La in April of 2009; what a wonderful place! We were in Grand Cayman for our wedding and wanted a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Many of our family were also staying at Shangri La, which made it like a home away from home. We found the other guests very friendly but if you didn't... more

We had the greatest mini vacation!!! We stayed in the Poinciana, our room was perfect! The Shangri-La is locations in West Bay. Yes you need a car to get to Seven Mile Beach but you should have a car where ever you stay in order to see the whole island. The Davidson's can get you a car rental discount. They... more

My husband and I had never stayed at a B&B for a vacation in the Carribean and were given this reference from a friend! The minute I got in touch with the owners to book our Holiday, I was impressed with the friendly, quick and courteous service we received to make our reservations and to accomodate us for our stay.... more

The Inn-Keepers George and Maureen Davidson are friendly and wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and the B&B is very clean and well kept. You feel like you are staying at a good friends home. The website is a bit misleading thinking that a young couple and their 2 dogs run and live in the B&B. That is not true. The... more

Spent Thanksgiving week on Grand Cayman. Rented a car, stayed at the Shangri-La B & B and dove 4 days with Indigo Divers. Shangri-La is located North of Seven Mile Beach in the West Bay/Morgan's Harbor area. The location is 10 minutes from the boat dock where Indigo picks up their divers, 10 minutes from three really exceptional 5 star... more

My husband and I loved this place. We went there for our honeymoon. It was a quiet house. The breakfast that was served was wonderful. It was like a home cooked meal while on vacation. George and Maureen were wonderful hosts. We also enjoyed the pool on the property. It was also convenient that there were small refrigerators in the... more

The B & B was just awesome. There were 3 couples that went and all had different rooms and they were just great. The rooms were very distinctive, clean, fresh, and special. We were in a smaller room but it was nice the tv was a small 13" and the fridge was smaller than a bar fridge but it suited... more

If you're looking to save some bucks in Cayman accommodations and yet stay enjoy all of the comforts of home, then the Shangri-La B&B just might be the place for you. For what you get in Cayman, there just might be no better bang for the buck. The Breakfast was a real highlight for us. You'd easily pay $20+ (CI)... more
