We stayed at Eldemire's Tropical Island Inn in January, and had a wonderful time. The location is not Seven-Mile-Beach, but we loved snorkeling and sunning at Smith Cove, a ten-minute walk. The location is also two minutes from Sunset House, and is a perfect place for a dive or snorkeling vacation. We often dined at Sunset House while watching the... more

The advertisement clearly states not "glitzy". It wasn't, but I knew that going in. It WAS very clean, within walking distance to great restaurants and down town, and the owner Tootie was very accomodating. I am aggravataed by the negative comments, because they were undeserving. At those prices you knew you weren't staying at the Hilton! Would return anytime to... more

Would never recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!First night we got there we were locked out of our room for 3 hours waiting for a locksmith because the management did'nt have a key for the double lock.We rented this apartment for 2 weeks because it had a kitchen if that is what you could call it. It was poorly... more

Unless you have a car, forget about staying here. It is not a place at which we wanted to spend much time. The location is in a neighborhood filled with roosters and chickens (the former wake up before the sun rises) and it is not within comfortable walking distance of much of anything except the Sunset House. (For the few... more

My family and I stayed at Eldemire's over spring break (Mar/Apr '07) and we had a great time. The room was clean and plenty big enough, including a full kitchen. The location is excellent, just outside of Georgetown and provided us a nice break from the tourists and hotel row on Seven Mile beach. Above this, Tootie and Bob (Tootie... more

Remember, you will not be staying at a condo on 7 mile beach. Eldemire's GH is located in a quiet Camaynian neighborhood which my husband and I thought was lovely. We went to Grand Cayman, for a dive vacation, in Oct. 2006. Of course the reef is still pretty battered after Hurricane Ivan but there was plenty signs of regrowth... more

We were so lucky to find Eldemire's B&B Guest House and spent a fabulous 10 day holiday there just this past February. The facility includes the big house, where rooms are available, and use of the large kitchen downstairs is available for the guests use. Also included are a few larger suites and cottages which have their own kitchenette. There... more

We were looking for an inexpensive accomodation before an extended dive trip on the Aggressor. Our room was clean and had a shared kitchen with another apartment. We had the place to ourselves. The pool was small but there was ample shade. A bit of a walk into town but definitely doable. Sunset House was very close by so we... more

Based on the earlier reviews at Fodor's, I was expecting something quite different than what I got. I knew that the location was not near 7-mile beach but was optimistic that Smith's Cove would be a nice place to hang out on a daily basis and we could make the trip to 7-mile maybe a couple of times. Well, Smith's... more

After having searched and researched for some where to stay during our holiday to Grand Cayman myself and 2 girlfriends decided on Eldemire's Guest House. It was an excellent decision. We arrived and were greeted by the friendly staff and were taken immediately to our 2 units. One was a one bedroom apartment and the other was a 2 bedroom... more
