This hotel is nice....probably not as nice as tthe Ritz but the beach is really nice and lets face it who stays in there room on vaca anyway. The drinks here are also very good! Trip was from 6/7 through 6/12. Arrived around 4PM and was taken immediately to our room which was an island, or parking lot, view. The room was clean, maybe a little musty, and while the thermostate said it was 68 degrees in the room there was no way it ever got below 75.....but all in all the accomodations were fine.... more

I have just read good and bad reviews about this hotel. I've stayed here a few times because as a Starwood Platinum guest we get an ocean-front room for the same price as a car-park-view room. We got the $159 summer special rate and were upgraded to the ocean front suite which was wonderful. We were just steps to the white sand beach and crystal clear water. Great Hotel and perfect location! Go across the street to EATS Cafe for awesome cheap breakfast. Also across the street at Sunshine Suites are the best taco's and burgers... more

My husband and i have been to many caribbean islands but have never felt more safe than we did on our recent trip to Grand Cayman.
