Coral Sands is a lovely little resort. It is well maintained and right on the beach. It has a nice communal terrace on the beachfront and we carried our dinner plates out almost every evening to watch the sunset. Rooms are nicely appointed but not luxurious. Well-stocked kitchen. We just returned from a very enjoyable week staying at the Coral Sands resort. We booked the 7 nights accommodation, 5 days diving package with Ambassador divers which was very good value compared with similar packages on the island. The resort is small and friendly with the on-site staff making every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.... more

I am a fan of Coral Sands, and have stayed there many times. It has one of the best locations on the island, you can walk to Georgetown, there is a Great shore dive, and close to my favorite Irish Pub. The new managers have put in many upgrades, free WiFi. rental bicycles, sand on the beach, upgraded kitchenware Etc.... more

We visited the resort in Feb. 2006 and found the remodeled units excellent. Updated and clean - although we missed the coral colors that were on the resorts exterior prior to the hurricane. In November of 2003 we stayed at the Coral Sands in Grand Cayman, which is within easy walking distance of capital city Georgetown's shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
