Not everyone is looking to stay at the Marriott and maybe this place won't fit every situation either, but I have to say that what we got for the price was more than we expected. There are 5 villas with huge verandas overlooking the Atlantic. Each unit has a full kitchen with microwave, stove & 2 door refrig and tile floors throughout. Within each unit you have the choice of 1 bedroom/1 bath or 2 bedroom/2 bath [one unit is locked off if you only need 1 bedroom]. The rooms are large with huge closets and 1 queen bed in 1 bedroom and 2 queens in 2nd bedroom. The entire unit is tiled floor. There is a pool that is clean and useable, but not much for lounging chairs. The owner, Glenford, is very accommodating and helpful. The location is quiet and about 10 min from Bassterre. During high season we paid $70/nite for a 1 bedroom plus taxes, which is a fantastic deal if you are looking for a way to go inexpensively and spend that extra cash elsewhere.
