Nisbet is a nice property. If you are looking for a beach vacation, you have found a nice property. We are unable to recommend, however the meal plans. The food is a little above average, but the service is slow and at times surly. If you plan to stay on a Thursday evening, plan to attend the barbecue right on... more

GETTING THERE: If you are taking a ferry from St. Kitts to Nevis be mindful that the last ferry to the island is usually at 5pm. We missed the last ferry due to a delayed flight and were told by Nisbet staff that we had to take a water taxi at a hefty price of $100-250(US$) per person. After prodding... more

We just returned from a weeks stay at Nisbet and couldn't have been happier with the resort. We chose Nisbet because we wanted a quiet place without a crazy pool scene and lounge chairs stacked next to each other. It took a little getting used to the leisurely island pace, but after a few days we were able to just... more

I loved Nisbet Plantation, I truly believe it is the best property on the island. When we were there for our honeymoon it was a bit windy, but apparently, if there is no wind at Nisbet the rest of Nevis is scorching. The staff is so friendly, but not over the top. And the FOOD - the best food in... more

We chose Nisbet because we had read how great the staff is and the people on Nevis in general. Sounded like a great place. IT LIVES UP TO IT'S REPUTATION!!! We had a very very relaxing vacation. The staff is kind, helpful and very welcoming. They also work very hard, long hours. The beach is windy, but very pleasant. It's... more

My husband and I just got married and he surprised me with a trip to Nisbet Plantation in Nevis. We were both pleaseantly surprised with this resort. One of the things we loved the most was how peaceful and relaxing it is. After months of hectic planning this was the perfect getaway to unwind. It is very windy but the... more

We found Nisbet to be perfectly "nice", but given the hype on this website and the tripadvisor ranking of best luxury resort in the entire carribean, we were let down. The grounds are peaceful and the vistas are grand, but the resort has a little bit of a parched campground feel--not a luxe resort feel. For example--the snorkeling gear for... more

My husband and I just got back from the Nisbet Plantation and thought it was one of the nicest resorts we have been in at the Carribean. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Special mention to Caddy, the great bartender, Steven, and our favorite lady, Violet. They... more

We loved Nisbet. - Key staff members make you feel at home and are genuinely concerned about your welfare and enjoyment. They will always remember your name and your preferences. These are the people who give the place its personality. If you visit, you will understand who these people are within a couple of days. - Supporting Staff members generally... more

Couldn't agree more mjcohen! We are packing our bags for our 5th visit to Nisbet next week. We have explored other Caribbean islands and stopped once we found Nisbet and Nevis. It is not for everyone, as other reviewers have pointed out. A crazy beach scene, noisy nightlife, and shopping mecca it is not. This is part of what makes... more
