I stayed at Hillside in October 2006. It was opened in 2005 and is very, very clean. It is located about 10 minutes drive from the airport and about 15 drive from Kingstown. The apartment basically contained everything to make your stay very comfortable....A/C, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, fridge, stove, cable tv, daily maid service. Mrs Smith, the owner even provided fruit, crackers, milk and coffee to make it more comfortable. We stayed on the top floor which displayed an excellent view of the Grenadines from the patio. Transportation is available at the front of the hotel and two mins walk to the main road, however the vans do not pass at the front of the hotel at night. Young Island dock is about 5 mins walk from Hillside where you can go on a speed boat over to Young Island for about EC$30.

St Vincent is a really nice country for relaxation and you can also take a ferry over to the Grenadines, shopping wise there is nothing to buy in my opinion... more
