Staying at the Blue Mango in Castara Bay, Tobago is an absolute dream. The past two years my husband, son and I have spent time in the Sweet Point cottages. They are wonderful "off the beaten path" gems. The Blue Mango is for travelers who are looking to loose themselves in tranquility. If you are looking for a place jam... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Blue Mango in September 2007 for six nights. We had requested the Sweet Point cabin but Colin, the owner, asked if we'd like to stay in the Sea Steps cabin because he was remodeling Sweet Point during our visit. He was very professional about the whole thing and offered us Sea Steps at... more

Please check the dates of reviews before you book this accomodation. We checked out Trip Advisor and as there were quite a few good reviews on Blue Mango, we decided to give it a try. We were charged £100 per night and stayed here for 4 nights. I had really been looking forward to our trip as we were staying... more

We have just returned from our best holiday ever, staying first at Sweet Point Upper Level (just renovated) and then at Sea Steps (simply stunning) at the Blue Mango in Castara. Yes, it did take about a day to adjust to the pace of life (very very slow), the roar of the sea and the lack of anything to bother... more

We found Blue Mango in the Rough Guide which I think more aptly describes the cottages than the website. Booking was a very relaxed affair (pay when you get here). Before we left we had an email saying we would have to spend a night or two in Sweet Point, despite having been told on the telephone we could have... more

We stayed at Blue Mango for 7 nights and had a great time. We stayed in Sea Steps. The dining/living area is open and looks right out to the sea. Whilst relaxing on the balcony we fed birds with bread and banana. In the evenings we fed bats by leaving banana on the balcony. The kitchen is well furnished with... more

I stayed at the Blue Mango Hotel in Tobago for 7 days in October 2006 and it was absolutly beautiful. The view from my room at Sweet Point downstairs was superb, with the sound of the waves lulling me to sleep and the chirping of birds waking me up in the morning. I slept with my window open and watched... more

I had to respond to an earlier review about Blue Mango specifically about Sea Steps and Colin. First, if its pampering and being waited on hand and foot, no, Blue Mango is not for you. Then, most of Tobago is not for you. Go to an all-inclusive on one of those other islands and leave Tobago for us. If you... more

We had such a wonderful first visit to Tobago and the Blue Mango that we are already planning a return. We loved staying in Sweet Point cottage with its superb views of the Caribean. We sat on the balcony feeding the tropical birds while waiting for the sunsets. Our hosts Rebecca and Colin introduced us to the many friendly villagers.... more

Seasteps is bliss for anyone who wants to be as close to the sea as they can get without actually sleeping on the beach. In that sense it's a true 'eco' home as it's like a tree-house set into the cliff, with a series of sunny rooms and decks cooled by sea breezes. (It also blends in discreetly with the... more
