Great little property, great value for the island (and not many bargains are to be found on Provo). I had unwisely chosen to pay more for an "ocean view" room - first given a first floor room in Bldg 2 looking at foliage, and then given a second floor room with about a foot of ocean view (I think 612).... more

My 19 yo daughter and I just returned. This place was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The landscaping is amazing and you can just feel the stress melting away while you are being taken to your room. We stayed in Building 4 on the 3rd floor, a bedroom/oceanview. It was spacious with a fridge/ microwave/ and stove.... more

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Royal West Indies resort, from June 6th through the 13th. The RWI is in a great spot on Grace Bay on a nice stretch of beautiful beach. The grounds and landscaping are well kept and beautiful, with meandering paver walkways through the resort. There are 2 pools, one with a... more

This resort is picture perfect and I would say 5 star. The front desk is not terribly friendly and free upgrades are non existent. We expected an upgrade, as it was our honeymoon trip. So, I would recommend getting the best room you can afford; building 1,2 or 3 on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We had building 5 in... more

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We had a studio, with a small kitchenette. No stove but it worked out fine. To save money on food we went shopping at the IGA up the street for cereal and sandwich stuff for breakfast and lunch. Most dinners we ate at the Mango Reef restuarant at the resort, great food... more

This was a return visit for us to RWI; our daughter was married on Grace Bay Beach beach last year in May and about 40 of the guests statyed at RWI. RWI was superb then and even better this time around, as we were able to spend more time doing nothing! The toughest decision we faced each day was whether... more

We've made 3 trips to RWI in the last year, we can't find anything to compare with the beaches, gardens and accommodations. We chose a 1 bdrm garden view (411) and had an excellent stay. The weather was a bit rainy at times...but didn't stop us from enjoying the beach & touring in our rental car (Grace Bay Rentals is... more

This is an absolutely gorgeous property. While recently constructed, the exterior is done in a style that could be described as "Caribbean Colonial Revival" and pulled off beautifully without looking tacky. The hotel/condo complex comprises about nine buildings. They are arranged around a striking central garden and each room has a large balcony. Some of the front rooms have ocean... more

RWI was wonderful. It was the 2nd time we have visited the island but our 1st there. We were there to get married and had a group of 29, about 18 stayed @ RWI. The staff at both the hotel & restaurant are about 50/50, but my guess is that will improve with time as the island is still fairly... more
