I'm afraid this place has gone downhill since their website was created. The condos were well- laid out, but that's where the honest presentation stopped. The owner & staff were perfectly nice, but the premises were worn & seedy - holes in the screens, crooked stairs, louvers that wouldn't open when you wanted the breeze or wouldn't close when you... more

My sister and I stayed in the Penthouse Suite for a week. We had a great time in St. Croix and at this hotel. Our suite was very clean, but could use a little work. The living room / kitchen was very spacious and pretty, but the bedroom was rather small and drab. I agree with many other reviews saying... more

We have been going to Cane Bay Reef Resort for the last ten years. Our host and hostess, Joe and Nancy Scirto, are entirely in a class of their own. Hats off to them for making us feel like we are coming home. The rooms are quaint with tropical themes and island decor. They are clean and neatly kept. All... more

While the Cane Bay Reef club is under renovation, I would not recommend staying in the separate building. The rooms are infested with bugs. There are no screens on the sliding glass doors. You MUST bring bug spray- the bugs will swarm you. The counters are covered with ants. The stove didn't work and the fridge froze everything that we... more

It's been nearly two years and I still have bad dreams and thoughts about our stay at Cane Bay Reef Resort. It is as low as low can go. I have made 14 trips to the Carribean often returning to favorable resorts. I am an experienced traveler and know what to expect from what I pay. Cane Bay was a... more

I stayed here in March 2004 for my honeymoon. We had been to St. Croix previously and chose to stay on the North Shore because of the wonderful Cane Bay Beach as well as the small, family run accomodations. We stayed in the larger corner suite and were quite happy with the room. It was large and the balconey was... more

A friend and I had booked at a b and b in town. When we arrived we thought it was no place to two girls to stay alone...so we made some quick calls and were impressed with Joe's friendliness. We had difficulty finding our way there and stopped to call him to get directions. He told us to sit tight... more

Located on the beautiful North Shore of St. Croix, the Cane Bay Reef Club is a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the Caribbean. You immediately feel "at home" upon your arrival there as you are greeted by friendly staff, enter your villa, open the glass doors and soak up the surf and sun off of your private balcony.... more

Had we been familiar with this review service before our trip to St. Croix in April, 2002, we would never have chosen Cane Bay Reef Club. Our experience was similar to some of the other reviewers. This resort is a rip off. It is as, or more expensive than many nicer resorts on St. Croix. The room was not clean,... more

I moved here in 2000, and stayed at Cane Bay Reef Club (CBRC) until I found a permanent residence (seven weeks, in all). My job takes me all over the world, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to hotels. If I hadn't been satisfied with CBRC, you can bet I'd have been out of there in a flash!Located right... more
