Stayed 5 nights in a studio unit which we got through a timeshare exchange. The resort is on the smallish side, which we liked, and the beach was great (you would have to keep a close eye on children though as there is a bit of a current). The grounds could be better tended and the maintenance both inside and... more

My husband and I stayed at BBBC week of January 17, 2009 using our Wyndham points. We were concerned based on the negative reviews it received. I don't know where the negative people stayed but we didn't have any problems during the whole week. We stayed in a Studio Plus (bedroom area in the loft). As far as the steps... more

Bluebeards Beach Club Pros: Location Cons: Location. After reading so many negative reviews about BBBC, I wanted to weigh in on what a nice place it really is. While nothing is perfect, this is a beautiful place with a view of the ocean that I could stare at all day. The worst thing about it is that it is hard... more

booked through our timeshare. I now know why they don't post pictures of the rooms on their website. We had the honor of staying in "c" Building i would say that these rooms have not been touches since they were built. Upon arrival into our room i nearly gaged. The room had a very foul smell , was not clean... more

I stayed at Blue Beard's Resort and Villas for a total of 2 weeks. I booked it through a timeshare and when we got there, they told us there would be a charge per person per day every day we stayed for electricity and other uses. We were lucky and only got charged a total of $12 ($6 per person... more

The only thing good about the place is the property. It is really a shame that no one there gives a crap about it. The guy that had the vision to build on that spot on the beach had a grand idea. Too bad the place is a now a rat hole. Staff is worst ever, grounds are unkepped, tennis... more

We just got back from a week long stay at Bluebeards and were very disappointed. As with the previous review, we arrived at 11:00pm, tired and hungry. The front desk girl was very rude and uninformative. Just handed us our beach towels and only got 1 key.No information on the amenities, where things were, etc. I asked if there was... more

This is my first review as I feel so passionately that others should be aware of the conditions at this property. While there were many positives about this resort, my concerns are too serious to ignore. 1. SECURITY: While we were there the bar was robbed at gunpoint at around 10pm. Luckily, we were with our kids in the room!... more

Just returned from Bluebeard's Beach Club over Thanksgiving Week. The location is great. It's a small resort (70 or so rooms) compared to the huge properties on the island. It's right on the beach (rocky so bring water shoes if you want to swim). There are plently of lounge chairs and they provide you great big fluffy yellow and white... more

Do not stay in Room 216. Stains on sofa and carpet, chipped paint, grimy and stained furniture, standard pillow cases on king size pillows, stained tub, missing drawers on night stand, Spartan appointments, ceiling fixtures you'd hang in a garage, wiring on outside of walls, balcony furniture you wouldn't sit on, window air conditioner could not remove damp, dank feeling... more
