We stayed in one of the hilltop units. It was great waking up to the awesome view of the water and the other islands. However, this was about the only nice thing about this place. The website advertises this lovely Pineapple Beach which was rocky, nasty and covered with dead seaweed. Sugar Beach was no better. We had to walk... more

My husband and I are fairly well traveled, and our stay at Point Pleasant was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We stayed in a superior suite (B-21) during our first anniversary trip, and while the other reviewers comments about the interiors not being updated are not inaccurate, we thought that the room was nearly perfect. The... more

So we loved the resort, the views were amazing, the food was spectacular, but we had a few issues. the night we got there, there was NO ONE in sight. we got in late, the front desk was closed and only security had a key for us. It is impossible to even know where you are going if you have... more

I was looking for a nice, affordable place to stay with my husband and daughter, with kitchen, because we like to cook our meals.I rent trough VRBO this apartment, which is very close to the Red Hook area and of Coki beach, our favorite in St.Thomas.A car is a must, because it is a hilly resort.Nice pools, quiet enviroment, and incredible views from our balcony. more

I stayed at Point pleasant resort at St Thomas for 2 nights as part of my honeymoon trip to virgin islands. I got to tell you, I never thought it will be such a great resort when I booked my accomodations. It only cost me around 200 bucks a night (cheap for that part of the world.) My suite had... more

I have stayed at the Point Pleasant Resort many times. The Superior Suite is like a small Condo. Wrap around balconies with awesome views of the British Virgin Islands. The staff is always very friendly. My favorite employee is Willy. Since Point Pleasant is built on the side of the mountain, and walkways are steep, a ride through the property... more

The resort was built aroud a hiking/nature trail. This is not some nice flat with some bumps trails. There is some MAJOR climbing up and down the mountainside (very steep and w/o rails). Pineapple beach is very small but quiet. The food at Funji's is awesome. This end of the island shuts down at 6 and you are secluded from... more

My wife and I recently spent a week at Point Pleasant Resort (PPR) with our two 6 year old boys. All in all, we had a great time and PPR is exactly as described in traveler posts on this site—beautiful views, relatively economical, and extremely convenient to the desirable East End. It is also OLD, hilly and doesn’t offer all... more
