Point Pleasant on the east end of St. Thomas was the perfect starting point to begin every day on our vacation. We would wake up to the most beautiful sunrises every morning. Then we would make a cup of coffee and sit out on the veranda listening to the birds and the sea. The grounds are very tropical with flowering... more

Point Pleasant Resort was a very fun, different, relaxing vacation! It is a different type of resort (condo) that is very private and quiet and full of adventure! We loved the quiet, romantic feel of the resort and really enjoyed walking on the beaches and relaxing by the pools. The views are spectacular and your must like to walk and... more

Really enjoyed this place. Four of us booked two rooms. Rooms were great! Spacious and the views were incredible. We enjoyed having a full service kitchen with pots and pans, plates, cofffee maker, stove/oven, and a Microwave We made and ate breakfast in our room every morning. There are not too many places that open up for breakfast (island time),... more

room was very large for the price we paid. The problem is that the hotel needs some renovations. A bit old fashioned. more

My husband and I chose St. Thomas for our honeymoon. Since it tends to be a bit expensive we did a lot of research beforehand to find a nice place at a reasonable price. We chose the Point Pleasant Resort due to its close proximity to Red Hook (a really fun area of the island) and Coki Beach. We'd read... more

I had a decent stay at the hotel. The views were spectacular. We reserved a Junior Suite which was suppose to come with 1 queen size bed but our room actually had a king size bed. There was a full kitchen which was convenient and saved us a lot of $$$ on food. However, they was a lot of walking... more

I was initially going to stay at Sapphire Beach, but after speaking with the owner of D-5 (we rented a privately-owned condo through homeaway) and noting her profuse knowledge of the island, decided to take the $200 hit to my wallet for cancelling at Sapphire to book with her at Point Pleasant. And I’m SO glad I did. The view... more

This resort is just lovely. We stayed at a junior suite which was more than enough, it was spacious, clean, comfy and had a great view! Sure, it is perched on top a hill and you are forced to exercise but it wasn't that bad. I was 4 months pregnant when I went and I managed to survive; so if... more

The view was picture perfect from our room B7. Lenny the shuttle driver told us to take the safari buses that goes clockwise around the island. $1 each to tutu mall. $2 each to Mainstreet. Bought stuff at Tutu mall, BigKmart and Plaza so we got to cook breakfast everyday and dinner almost everyday. Our meals cost $50 for the... more

Our room had the most incredible views - I took a million pictures from the wrap around terrace. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was big and clean and the property was well kept. Not much of a beach but it does have 3 pools. The walking is a bit much - hope you have strong legs! more
