We stayed in Haulover room and the view was amazing. We sat on the balcony most of the time in the rocking chairs. The pool was nice to relax in after a day at the beaches. It was very convenient to be able to use the beach chairs and grab water or a drink at the honor bar. I did not have breakfast since I was unable to eat what they offered. The location is close to Mongoose Junction for restaurants and also to the beaches on that side of the island. We even hiked to Honeymoon Beach one afternoon. It only took about 10 min with an easy trail. The only downside was the internet signal was not working for the tv in the room. We have already booked another stay.

This is a nice bed and breakfast high on a hill above Cruz Bay, but not a peaceful place to stay. All day you can hear music from downtown Cruz Bay and in the evenings it is very loud, thump-thump-thump of dance music until late evening. Cars on the nearby road also blast music. There is construction going on right next door. The views of Cruz Bay and St Thomas across the channel are glorious. The room is modest but just fine, complete with mini-fridge and microwave and a teeny tiny room safe. They provide beach towels and a soft-sided cooler. Nice armoire for your things. The room lamps are dim so reading at night was a challenge. The balcony was nice, quite large with 2 rocking chairs and a table. Continental buffet breakfast is OK, but the exact same every day. The compact grounds are lovely. There is a small plunge pool. Estate Lindholm is a 10-minute walk up a steep hill from downtown Cruz Bay but use CAUTION if walking: it is extremely steep, winding, and cars, buses and trucks zoom by at high speeds. There is no sidewalk. At night very dangerous, even with a flashlight. Estate Lindholm is convenient to trails through the forest to two beaches in the national park, about 25 minutes walk.

Beautiful view of the bay and really tranquil grounds. Decent free breakfast. We liked the close proximity to the National Park and the honor bar. The hill is steep into town so keep in mind if you want to walk.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lindholm estate. The room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the large balcony that had a table with chairs and two rocking chairs. The bed was comfortable, the AC cooled the room well, and there's good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was simple but with plenty of options, fruit, yogurt, breads, pastries, and cereal. It was our first time on St John, and manager Tim gave us helpful suggestions for what to do and see. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. We were able to leave our luggage and use beach chairs and towels after we checked out. Great place to stay on St John!

I’m so glad we chose to stay here while celebrating our 30th anniversary for a week. We stayed in room Jumbie and it was perfect! The view was amazing from this room! The view from the pool/breakfast area was amazing also. The location is just outside of town, there was a relaxing feel about the whole place. Being on the deck for sunset, glass of wine and music from the bay were perfect. We did walk up from the Bay Area and it was a hike, be ready. Going down was much easier of course. There is a trial you can hike to Honeymoon Beach. This beach was probably our top for just chilling out and enjoying the ocean. There were lounge chairs here, a bar to buy drinks, large area for shade, (if you need that) ;). We ended up renting a Jeep so we could go explore all the different beaches/areas of the island. Maho beach, great snorkeling, you will see a turtle. Even if not snorkeling you will see a turtle. Fun area here for food/drink, and lots of different rentals. The resort provides beach chairs for you to use, a cooler and you can rent the snorkel gear. I encourage you to take advantage of all that. They also provide ice. We didn’t discover that until we had been there for a couple of days. Everyone working on the resort was so friendly, including the owner. When we go back to Saint John we will be staying here again! Thank you!

Intimate and Romantic. Just remote enough to feel free, but reasonably close enough to Cruz Bay to interact with the locals and just a short drive to all the best beaches in the World. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with the owner who made sure we were well taken care of on our Honeymoon.

This was our second stay at Estate Lindholm and it did not disappoint! The location is spectacular as we love being close to Cruz Bay yet away from the hustle of the town. We love sitting out on the patio with the hummingbirds in the morning and soaking up the views. We can’t wait to return next year.

For my wife and I's 10th year wedding anniversary we booked the Maho cabina at the Estate Lindholm and we couldnt have had a better experience. Centrally located, clean and convenient and the morning conversations with Brion were just some of the perks. We loved our stay here and hope to be back soon!

Believe all the incredibly positive reviews here. This is a gorgeous gem on the island -- super quiet and private, with high, sweeping ocean views from every room. We heard not a peep from other rooms, even those with which we shared a wall. We actually slept more soundly than we do at home. The walkways were stone, and they put huge, beautiful shells along them, with flowers inside each shell. My husband and I used the beautiful little salt water pool every day, and I am not a pool person. You do have to go down the hill to get food (except for breakfast) and you will want to drive there and back. It looks like a short distance on the map, but it is a steep hill with no sidewalk and the locals drive fast. We spent the whole trip hiking in the national park but used our rented Jeep for the hill between the inn and the town. This worked out fine, and worth it to stay at our beautiful aerie on the hillside. As a side note, this inn's website is really easy to use and you can pick your room. We actually booked our trip for 2022 and then had to move it until 2023 because of a death in the family, and the inn's management was perfectly accommodating with the reschedule. We will be booking another trip to St. John in the near future and definitely will stay at Estate Lindholm again. What a wonderful place.

We just love Estate Lindholm! Stayed here before, approximately 5 years ago & it has gotten even better! Our room had a large patio with a magnificent view of Cruz Bay! The bed is very comfortable including the pillows! A kitchenette with a frig., microwave, coffee maker & small sink. Manager Tim & Brian make you feel right at home. Coffee, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, specialty breads, eggs & cereal make a nice breakfast to start your day. You can also buy beer, wine & spirits on site. Beach coolers, chairs & ice are free for your use as you explore the world class beaches & crystal water! The grounds offer free parking if you rented a car & if not the taxi service picks you up right out front. The gardens are like an arboretum with plants & flowers from different countries lovingly tended by LEO. Also, the friendly few cats, make it like home. We will return!! Judi & Mike
