When I blindly booked this hotel, I, obviously didn't know what I was getting myself into. The hotel is cheap for a reason (the only reason why I booked this in the first place). It's too far from the beaches, from the shopping, from downtown Nassau, from good dining, from all of the excursions.... everything. I wanted to go to... more

I had to double check the name of the hotel on this review because based on what this guest was saying, it didn’t even sound like he was even talking about our hotel. If even any of what he has complained about here was even close to true I would have to agree …. However his analysis is so far...

This is basically a motel that is far off anything. Big room, little worn out maybe, but finally it's cheap. If one needs only a bed it might be OKish. The facilities of the hotel, e.g. a center garden, are in bad conditions. same goes for the bathroom: worn out and at least not appearing very clean. Service quality? There... more

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was large and clean, and the staff was very friendly. I was concerned at first after I read some reviews on this hotel, but it worked out perfectly for us. We were in the Bahamas for a wedding, and so we had many places to be within the week. The location... more

I won’t call it a hotel, it is a motel. You get what you paid for... no, less than you paid for. At the end, you spend more money on everything, everyday. Get around: The hotel is located in the east corner of Nassau and is hard to get around from there. To get to Nassau, you have to call... more

This traveler speaks of a “motel” as if it is substandard but he obviously does not understand the definition of Motel .. a Motel is a hotel that a person motors by …. Hence “Mo” in motel is the combination of Motor and Hotel. Since this is a resort destination with all guest arriving by plane that is obviously not...

The old adage, "you get what you pay for", was running through my mind as we pulled up at the Red Carpet Inn in the Bahamas. We'd stretched ourselves in flying to the Caribbean for Easter and the hotel budget had been hit as a result. I was especially worried when I saw the check-in counter was behind a glass... more

This was a very nice hotel. I was worried going in because of the very low price as compared to everywhere else in Nassau but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice, clean, and secure. It is set back a ways so taxi's are a must for the time of year I was there.(Too hot to walk very far. We're... more

I stayed at the Red Carpet Inn during a 3-day visit to Nassau in August and I am glad that I chose this property, as it was very reasonably priced for a hotel in Nassau. I had a suite with a full-sized fridge, a microwave oven, and a living room area with couches. The hotel is a functional hotel, as... more

I like this hotel - it is basic, comfortable and functional. The positives include a clean environment, cheap rooms and a reasonably decent location (walkable to Paradise Island in 20 mins). Try not to be put off by the train station looking reception area - the staff are lovely. Despite my toilet and remote control not working when I first... more

Rooms were clean and tidy, but in-room kitchen facilities are very basic, only consisting of fridge and microwave (some 'suites' have sinks and benches, but not all). No crockery, cutlery or utensils so you will need to buy everything (or take it with) if you are thinking of going self catering. Oh, there were two plastic cups. Mini market not... more

We checked ---.com for the best priced places in Nassau and were shocked at the cost of hotel accommodation! I work for US Airways in the UK and some seats had opened up on the Nassau flights so we decided on a spot of Caribbean winter sun. The Red Carpet seemed to fit our budget and looked OK. However, on... more
