Just returned from an 8 night stay over Christmas. This was our 4th Christmas in the Bahamas, but first of many to come at Paradise Cove. Barry Smith (the owner of this family owned and operated property) knows how to do things right. Our very modern, immaculate, 2 bedroom/2bath Caribbean cottage was steps from the beach with a screened in... more

Just an online reservation, with no deposit, for a great day of snorkeling. We were picked up promptly at our cruise dock. Nice informative drive to the beach resort. We spent the morning and afternoon snorkeling the reef, then a speedy trip back to the ship. Good sightings behind the reef of nurse shark, stingray, squid & many others. Enjoyed... more

Had a great trip to Paradise Cove. Great snorkeling, beach walks, sunsets, and sampling the local cuisine. Small "resort", 2 guest homes are re-built after last hurricane, but they are new and great. Cove and reef are perfect for snorkeling- saw lots of fish and rays. Venture to surrounding towns for food and fun at night. Great alternative to big... more

WOW! I've been reading the reviews for a while... finally booked for myself. Where should I begin? Land The Blue villa was fresh and clean with island decor. I've seen pics of pre-hurricane villas built on lower blocks. The new villas are much higher with delightful views. Both bedrooms were spacious, I unpacked immediately. One bathrom has a stand in... more

We, unfortunately, were only there part of one day (cruise ship). We started off by following the rest of the tourists but then struck it rich by finding an Islander who was kind enough to take us to this part of the Island. The owner (father and son) were SO kind and friendly. I actually got to go for a... more

We visisted Paradise Cove on October 4th as one of our shore excursions while sailing on Carnival. We were picked up promptly from the ship, drove about 20 min to our destination, while learning about the city of Freeport from the driver who was very knowledgable! I had snorkeled before, but my children ages 10, 12, 18 and my daughters... more

The trip to Paradise Cove was the highlight of our vacation. We called them and set up to pick us up from the port and they were there right when we walked off the ship. After a 20 minute bus ride we got to Paradise Cove. We were a little nervous since parts of Freeport can be a little sketchy... more

My family travelled to Freeport aboard the Norwegian Sky. After reading online reviews, we decided to spend the day at Paradise Cove. I booked the trip online two days ahead, to make sure the weather forecast was favourable. We were picked up at the pier at Freeport in an air-conditioned van and drove about 20 minutes to Paradise Cove. This... more

We did not stay at the hotel, but we went for a day trip to snorkel. It was a half an hour cab ride from the cruise port, through a very poor section of the Bahamas. This is a rustic place. $20pp roundtrip for a cab ride. I believe that you can also arrange for Paradise Cove staff to pick... more

Paradise Cove was a wonderful place to visit. I stayed in one of the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villas with four other girls and loved it. There was also a pull out sofa bed in the living room! A man by the name of Barry Smith is the owner of Paradise Cove. He has staff of about 5 to assist in running... more
