My husband and I returned to Pelican Bay for 10 days/ 9 nights. Our third year in a row and it was just a wonderful as our past stays. We booked our stay with Judy at Angleradventures.com as my husband goes bonefishing (H20 Bonefishing, run by Greg Vincent is at the resort, see their website at H20bonefishing.com) while I love... more

Just back from 6 days at the Pelican Bay. Good value. Nice personnel. Pleasant room, comfortable, not posh. Bathroom plumbing needs some attention (shower valve needs replacement, annoying intermittent leak around toilet base). Water taxi to Taino Beach inoperative until (they say) 6/12, hourly van shuttle worked well. Taino Beach excellent. Restaurants: Sabor (on site) very good. In the Port... more

My wife and I spent 12 nights at Pelican Bay, which was too long - in hind side, for what the Island has to offer. We had a package deal with H2O Bonefishing for 5 days fishing, which did take care of some of our time spent. Greg Vincent and his team will take good care of you. Karen at... more

This hotel is an establishment I can recommend to anyone staying at Port Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island. The reception area is small and quaint with an immediate island feel. We upgraded to the waterside state room which was totally worth the difference in cost. We only know this because we were mistakenly sent to a run-of-the-mill room which was not... more

Thank you for your posting on our hotel! We appreciate it! Pelican Bay's tropical gardens are beautiful as you attested ... We'd like to invite you back, to enjoy, among other attractions on our island, Kayak Nature tours at Lucayan National Park and the Dolphin Experience, within steps of our resort. These nature-based excursions are not to be missed. Getting...

we love this hotel and have visited several times. the management does a great job at accomodating guests and the staff, from the friendly bellhop stanley who happily brings you a welcome rum punch before he delivers your bags, to the front desk and maids. the location is perfect, walking distance to beaches, shopping casino, etc and dont forget to... more

Stayed for a week in February. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. The continental breakfast was awesome. The only complaint we had was the housekeeping. The floors were never swept. The bedding was horrible - there was no fitted sheet, only a flat sheet that came off very often. Don't think the... more

Wonderful service, very helpful. Would recommend hotel. But the island was a different story. International Bazaar was completely empty. Maximum 3 vendors and nothing else. Was never restored after hurricane. What a shame. Casino was empty. And residents complained alot about the cost there. My desire to return to that island is not there. more
