Just back from 6 days at the Pelican Bay. Good value. Nice personnel. Pleasant room, comfortable, not posh. Bathroom plumbing needs some attention (shower valve needs replacement, annoying intermittent leak around toilet base). Wonderful service, very helpful. Would recommend hotel. But the island was a different story. International Bazaar was completely empty. Maximum 3 vendors and nothing else. Was never restored after hurricane. What a shame. Casino was empty. And residents complained alot about the cost there. My desire to return to that island is not there. more
