You cannot beat the price for the location. The hotel itself is not bad either. We payed 1/3 of the price at the Redwood as we would of at the hotel on the beach across the street. i definatly go with above average i have stayed there several times the hotel is centrally located the owners do not charge the added 15 dollars per day per person fee that all other hotels charge you are right across the street from the beach bus stop a 3 min walk to casino and the free entertainment in pt lucaya... more

I could not believe the condition of this place! The hotels all around are much cleaner, and much nicer. I walked in and walked right back out. I went to another hotel immediately! more

We were there June 2003; new linens, fresh paint, clean rooms, very friendly staff and management. Affordable and very convenient to marketplace. Five minute walk to the beach and all bus stops. We will stay there again when we return. more

This was the worst property I ever had the misfortune of staying at. The staff was completely rude and I felt like I had to watch my back the whole time so as not to get attacked by the "undesirables" who hang out around the hotel. The pool was filthy, the room smelled very stale and the shower worked selectively.... more

We stayed at the Redwood for our senior year of Spring Break in 2000. It was PERFECT for our needs. We needed a comfortable, clean place to sleep and relax when not playing and it definitely provided that.
