My wife and I stayed at Lubber in April 09. We had an incredible time. I was somewhat experienced on a boat, but have never owned a boat and have very little experience driving a boat in the ocean. This was not a problem at all. Around the Abacos it is so easy and Austin is great at explaining everything.... more

Great getaway for the independent traveler. My husband and I stayed while visiting the Abacos for our god-daughter''s Baptism. Having a boat is a must and we were lucky enough that boats were still being included with the cottage. The cottages are eco friendly. Austin and Amy have decorated them wonderfully. Be aware, there are no stores on the island... more

We stayed for a week on Lubbers in the Abacos. The Pineapple cottage at Watercolours was our home. Be advised that even though it's advertised as a one bedroom cottage, it's really more of an efficiency. No separate bdroom. Also, the shower is not part of the air conditioned area. Aside from that, Mark and Patti (owners) were great, and... more

Lubbers is as advertised. If your looking for some seclusion and away from all the bussle this is the place. Austin and Amy have done a good job of nestling the cabanas into the lush surrounding. There are only three cabanas and therefore there is never a crowd! Cracker P's is next door, so to speak, but noise or traffic... more

We have been at Lubbers in March 2009 for several nights. We arrived in March Harbour on a very windy day. For that case, we had to wait more than 2 hours until the boat rental guy had spoken to Austin to check if we were good to go. As expected the boat trip to Lubbers was a very challenging... more

My wife and I did Lubber's Landing for our honeymoon last year. The previous vacations we had taken together had been all-inclusive resorts, cruises, the sort of thing where you basically place your entire vacation in the hands of other people to tell you what to do, and set out activity schedules to do it, and we wanted something different.... more

My wife and I are independent travelers and prefer high quality experiences at out of the way places. No Ritz or Westins for us. I net searched for cottages with boating and found a gold nugget. Lubber's Landing is a real jewel. We landed in Marsh Harbor, the cab took us to the grocery store, the liquor store, and to... more

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure to stay with Austin and Amy at Lubbers Landing this past summer. They have put together a truly wonderful place. The Islands are beautiful as expected... but staying here was the best decision of the trip. Austin and Amy have built three beautiful cottages which provide comfort and seclusion to the guests. Austin's... more

While most vacation accomodations in the greater Abaco area are either rental cottages or more posh resorts, Lubbers' Landing is truly a unique experience. Amy and Austin have worked hard to make it seem as though they're not working at all but just 'new found' friends that you've made while happening to stay at their resort. There is as much... more

Lubbers Landing is a very special place. It’s not for everyone but if you don’t like package holidays and you do like to get back to nature in comfort and style you’ll love it. Although the natural setting is idyllic, it is what owners Austin and Amy have created there that makes it so special. They have designed, built and... more
