Stayed only one night as the accomodations left a lot to be desired. The staff was only somewhat friendly and the resort was in need of a renovation. Exuma does not have the shopping/commercialism as in Freeport or Nassau. With approx 3,500 residents -- much smaller population...virtually "glitz-free." Club Peace & Plenty is a small hotel (33 rooms, I think) situated on Elizabeth Harbor (no beach). Small pool at hotel. Stocking Island is a 5 min boat ride across the harbor (FABULOUS beaches). We have stayed at the Peace and Plenty two or three times over the past few years. We’ve been there with a few different groups of people, and everyone is always very happy with the hotel. Some of our friends brought their kids (ages 4 – 15). It’s definitely not a place to drop your kids off at the pool... more

The staff here couldn't be less helpful. They treat the guests as if they are interrupting their day. Not one time in my stay or other guests stay did anyone other then the bartender go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
