The restaurant has closed with immediate effect. According to the rules of Tripadvisor this review has to be at least 200 characters so I will waffle on for a bit. This restaurant was only ten miles from my house and my wife and I have eaten here many times and enjoyed every visit.

Hoping to book a repeat visit to this fantastic restaurant with rooms, I was very sad to hear that it has just closed down. it "must cease trading forthwith due to the current financial affairs of Crown Hotel and Restaurants Ltd." A great loss.
