I stopped here from Mon - Fri for 2 weeks whilst working in South Wales.
I'll get my minor grumbles out of the way first. The hotel car park is situated down the facing street and is supposedly for guests only. But more often than not it is full of people who are doing their shopping in the town centre, making it ihard to get parked during the day time.

The hotel has free wi fi internet, but sadly you cannot get a signal in any of the rooms, so you have to log on in the bar / lounge or on the landing.

Those grumbles aside, it is a nice place to stop and seems very popular with travelling businessmen / contractors.
The hotel has designated smoking rooms which makes a refreshing change and all rooms seem to be spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable with en suite facilities, tea and coffee, etc.

Breakfast is of a good standard and plentiful (my only gripe being the cheap sausages!) and the service is quick and informal. I ate in the restaurant... more
