My wife and I stayed here for three nights on a B & B basis. The welcome was warm & friendly. The room was a good size on the ground floor in a quiet location. The breakfast was very good and there was a good selection to choose from, whether it be cooked or continental. The food at night was... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for valentines weekend and can fault nothing. The staff were friendly and fun, the whole place had a really relaxed atmosphere and the rooms were beautiful. The food was some of the best I have ever had and all of this came at a really reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights at the weekend. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and and helpful. The hotel is situated near a scenic loch that you can spend an energetic couple of hours walking round. All the meals we had were well presented and enjoyable. This is a place you could visit any time of the... more

We booked through Late Rooms, the price was reduced from £95 down to £60, which is the Superior Room rate. The hotel was advertised as allowing pets, but when we mentioned to the owner that we had our dog with us, he said we couldn't have the room he initially showed us to. We were shown to an inferior room... more

Please visit laterooms site and you will see a "STANDARD ROOM" advertised as £95 reduced to £60 at the time they booked. They failed to mention that they were bringing a dog - the website states "pets allowed" - this is a laterooms statement - we do allow pets in certain bedrooms as long as not left unattended in the...

We stayed for three nights whilst attending a family wedding. We were a large party who almost took over the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were kind, warm and friendly. Dinner the first night was exceptional as was breakfast each morning. Loved the sheep in the lounge! more

Just returned from a weekend in sunny Scotland and was very disappointed in our choice of hotel. We paid £95 per room per night and the rooms we had were at the top of the hotel (rooms 14 & 15), both were damp and musty, both had slugs on the carpet and mould around the curtains, the rooms needed stripping... more

Loch Kinord Hotel is a quaint hotel about 15 miles from Aberdeen in the heart of the countryside. The location is wonderful for day tours to Balmoral Castle (20 minutes away) and Crathes Castle (10 minutes away.) Many malt whiskey distilleries are a short drive away in the highlands. The food was excellent with breakfast being the best of my... more
