We have just returned from a weeks stay in one of the Clova lodges. They are absoloutely stunning. It's a beautiful place, surrounded by snowy mountains. It is very remote, this is why we booked it. They are immaculate inside, they have under floor heating, hot tubs, sauna. Kitchen and bathroom to a high standard, flat screen TV, dvd player,... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodges between Xmas and New Year. Check in was smooth, accommodation outstanding and the scenery was awesome. The hotel adjacent was friendly and welcoming. We ate there each day and was very happy with the food. More

Hogmanay at the Glen Clova Hotel was fantastic - it really showed off Scotland at its best. The setting was beautiful, up the glens of Angus with snow gently falling as we stepped out of the car. There are some tremendous walks - nearby Glen Doll is a great place to appreciate Scottish scenery and our close encounter with some... More

Had a mid-week stay in one of the Hideaway Lodges and can't recommend this place highly enough. The accommodation itself was ideal. A very large lodge for two people, it had any amenity you could want. You really only had to bring food to have everything you need. The hot tub and sauna were warm and welcoming in the wintry... Dear EJG1983, Many thanks for taking the time to post a review on our lodges and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. I can only apologise about your last night, however as I’m sure you're aware last Thursdays storms were some of the worst Scotland has seen in 10 years and we were one of the... More

Just returned from our first short break to Glen Clova Hideaway Lodge, and absolutely loved it. It was our labradors first little holiday and he certainly seemed to enjoy it too! Everything was very clean and new looking, especially the sauna/bathroom area. The hot tub and surrounding area was all very clean and welcoming also, wish I was still there!... More

Just back from another week up at the wonderful Glen Clova luxury lodges. Spent a lot more time eating in the restaurant this time around and the food is fab. All home cooked and served in generous portions by wonderfully friendly staff. Welcomed as always by June and from the outset made to feel at home. Our black lab now... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weeks stay in one of the Hideaway lodges at this hotel. Having stayed in similar lodges before we thought we knew what to expect when booking our stay here, but when we entered the lodge we were completely overwhelmed by the standard they have to offer. It was immaculate. The hot... More

The lodges were absolutely stunning with an outdoor hottub and indoor sauna. We stayed at one of the Hideaway lodges with accommodation for two people. The accommodation was immaculate and finished to a very high standard. These are self catering lodges however the hotel is next door which serves food. This was the only let down to our weekend stay.... More

my fiance and i had a meal here, the setting is beautiful, the food was average, i don't eat chips or potatoes but wasn't offered extra veg or anything to compensate. Staff were friendly enough. More

Stayed in one of the lodges for a long weekend, eating in the restaurant for one of the evenings. The lodge was spotlessley clean and of a very high standard and the outside hot tub was just brilliant. The restuarant was quiet the evening we ate there but the food was wonderful - no complaints whatsoever. We'll be back! More
