We loved being at Rockpool House. From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome starting with a freshly brewed coffee and home made cake. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. The house has a lovely sitting area with a large panoramic view window which is great for relaxing. The breakfasts are tremendous and nothing... More

Having spent a few days at Rockpool House back in November 20012, we wanted to share the experience with our 86 year old parents who were visiting from Canada.Rockpool House did not disappoint us! Yet again, Richard and Val, welcomed us as though we were part of their extended family and everything was beautifully prepared- the rooms, the upstairs lounge... More

We stayed at Rockpool House for 3 nights in the twin room which was beautiful and had a fabulous view of the sea loch, there were lots of little bits incase we had forgotten anything as well as lovely little treats like shortbread in the room. The seating area outside the rooms was a great spot for relaxing and checking... More

The earlier reviews drew us to this magical place, and there is little more to add. We had the twin room, with en suite bathroom. Everything possible had been thought of for the guest`s comfort, from the tea facilities with shortbread, hairdryer etc. Light airy room, with adjoining sitting area to share with the other bedroom guests. This "snug" was... More

We stayed at Rockpool House for one night, before continuing onto a holiday cottage for our annual two weeks on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Val and Richard were incredibly helpful and supportive even before we arrived, due to a last minute problem. However, we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a superb supper, before retiring to the very comfortable bedroom... More

My friend and I are the visitors referred to in the previous review and I can confirm we did not find accommodation to beat it during the rest of our trip. I can also confirm that our room in the B&B was excellent and we did not want for anything. Val and Richard are excellent hosts who make sure you... More

Just back from a week's stay in Rockpool House's lovely apartment. It is superbly comfortable, very well equipped and in a wonderful location on the banks of Loch Sunart. With a large, elevated picture window facing Loch Sunart, it is wonderful to sit and watch the ever changing scenery (weather wise that is!) and keep a lookout for the resident... More
