What a great hotel, quaint and charming, but fully modern. Had a large room that was beautifully decorated. Unfortnately we discovered that we had lost our passports while we were there, and the staff did all they could to help us out. Oh, and the food was great too! more

Recently spent 2 nights at The Black Bull in Lauder. What a find! Great value at £70 for a double room, good location, excellent food both at breakfast and in the evening and really friendly and helpful staff. What a difference 4 years makes. Here in this wee border town on the edge of the Scottish Borders you'll find a real hands on husband and wife team keen to please. I was in a twin room room 1.
