The hotel is slightly shabby, but very comfortable - in the evenings the bar is open to locals and residents, and the welcome is as warm as the log fire there! I can't give half stars but think this hotel is definitely above average (3 stars) but not just 4 stars yet. If you are a walker or a fisherman then you would give it 4 stars. The staff are fantastic, and if you are a dog lover ask to meet Mr Loges, Jake, Cassie and Mutley, but especially Mr Loges!!... more
