Le Provincialart is one of a number of B&B's serving Le P'tit Train du Nord trail, and was the very best of the three that we stayed at. Guy's attentiveness and hospitality and Diane's culinary skills made this a very enjoyable stop on our cycle trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Guy (with a very welcome glass of ice... More

We arrived after our first day of cycling from Mont-Laurier to Nominingue. The owner Guy welcomed us with tall glasses of water with lime wedges. He was a welcome site indeed. The experience just got better. His wife Diane made the most amazing meal. Breakfast was plentiful with homemade jams and scones followed by eggs and rosti potatoes. Great start... More

We went there for a romantic getaway, and luckily we were comfortable with each other by then because the owners made us feel uncomfortable and awkward many times. Didn't tell us where we could eat our own food, so we ended up eating on the porch with the others, yet weren't directed otherwise. The others were buying their food, so... More

Le Provincialart is a set in a beautiful natural area - fresh snow greeted us in the morning, calling us out to cross country ski. Guy directed us to some excellent trails for skiing and snowshoeing. What a treat to come back after an invigorating day to a cheerful wood fire and a delicious dinner. Thanks for your warm hospitality,... More

Stayed one night making my way down the 200km Petit Train du Nord cycling trail. The hosts are bilingual and very welcoming. Nice relaxed atmosphere with a lovely large garden and an enormous screened-in porch for breakfast and resting. Safe place to put the bike, neighborhood is very quiet, practically no traffic. Advance notice is required for supper which is... More

Diane and Guy bilingual hosts were superb hosts at this wonderful b&b. Great breakfasts. Nice big screened in porch to sit in. Quiet cul de sac in Nominingue and walking distance to main street. A small lake accessible at the back of the property though no beach. Chose b&b because of close proximity to Le Petit Train du Nord. Husband... More

My husband, 13 year old, and I stayed one night at La Provincialart as part of a short bike trip through the Laurentide region. We had learned about biking the Linear Park through www.laurentides.com. We found Guy Bedard, owner of La Provicialart through that website. Not only do he and his wife, Diane own the inn, he also arranged our... More
