Had a few days in Riposte and stayed at the Grand Yachting Place. Helpful staff who made good restaurant recommendations. A good base for day trips to Etna, Taormina, Catania and Syracuse. The hotel is situated by the sea, near the centre with good promenade walks, shops and parking outside - very convenient. Riposto is a fishing village which is undergoing a 'revamp' to boost tourism, squares have been enhanced, the marina is brand new and the promenade being widened.
