I loved staying at The Landing. My room was great, it was perfectly simple and met all my needs. I liked being located in town and found the walk to the beach a good way to get some exercise, wander around the island, meet people and see the different sights. I enjoyed my breakfast every day and enjoyed the perfect... more

Having seen so much written about the Landing I was keen to review and stay here and as part of our month long trip to the Bahamas, we booked for 3 nights. We stayed for one! I should have taken the experience of trying to book a room as a good indicator of things to come! Unhelpful uncommunicative and in... more

This is a gorgeous hotel. Its interior design is quirky, simple and stylish, all dark wood floors, white or neutral walls and big comfy beds you won't want to get out of in the morning. I've stayed twice now, which is rare for me as I like to try new places, but this feels like home - only better. I... more

My husband and I wanted to get away from Miami for a quick weekend to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The Landing, and Harbour Island in general, were amazing. We stayed in the Attic Room. Very beachy, all white and spotlessly clean. I would reccomend staying in the second building. The hotel was quiet and the included breakfast everyday on the... more

i booked into the residential only building which was a great idea and stayed in two of the rooms in my stay Frangipani which was gorgeous and the Attic which was really nice but could get a little hot - though there is aircon. Roadside noise i thought might be a problem but it soon dies down at night. And... more

Every hotel on the island offers deluxe accommodations in the style that compliments the laid back, serene beauty of the Pink Sand beach. The difference between the hotels lies in the influence for the décor – some contemporary, some more beach like, and others old world. So it’s up to the visitor what one prefers. The Landing is more of... more

The casual elegance of The Landing made it seem like the perfect place for us. But, on the whole, I'm not sure we would stay there again. The plusses: the rooms are beautiful; the location, fine; the food, scrumptious. The drawbacks: the service was horrendous; the location, just fine; the noise levels, unbearable. The staff we dealt with was not... more

We were so looking forward to staying at The Landing, and although the rooms are beautifully decorated in Caribbean colonial, the hotel is noisy, especially rooms in the main house over the cabaret. We were given a limited menu for each meal (we were told it was because it was the Christmas holiday) and after a few days, it got... more

We have just come back from our third trip to the Landing and as people who rarely go to the same place twice (too many places, too many fab hotels in the world), I was trying to think why we keep on going back. In part, it is to do with the island (which is to our mind how a... more

While this charming inn was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, the staff was mixed in their attitudes. We found the restaurant waitstaff to be lacking. The owners of this inn seemed to get along with locals well enough, but were a bit standoffish otherwise. There was a bit too much attention to one owner's former status as Miss Bahamas in... more
