We had a few nights of our honeymoon here. I'd wanted to come to the land of the pink sand since forever and had heard this was the place to stay so we booked a beach front villa room - it's a sort of semi-detached cottage, right on the sand. The room was nice but not that well kept. Looked... more

The beach on harbour island is something I cannot put into words. The color of the water and soft powder like sand is beyond incredible. The water is so blue and is the perfect temperature to spend hours in. I cannot imagine staying anywhere but directly on the beach. The Blue Bar was mine and my husband's favorite meal-we dined... more

The hotel itself is... cool! The rooms are mostly separate buildings so you feel you have a 'house' to yourself- We 4 stayed at the 2 closest to the Blue Bar and that was fun. The fish tacos there are excellent! The couches and pillows in the Pink Sands lobby are soooo comfortable- order a cocktail and play some pool... more

My new husband and I just had the most magical experience at Pink Sands for our wedding in May. We had a group of 60 join us for our nupitals, and couldn't have been happier. The location and grounds are unparalleled, and the service/vibe was nothing less than gracious and upbeat, without taking away from the naturally casual pace of... more

Absolutely mind boggling incredibly awesome...quote-unquote from my new hubby!!! What can I say about waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean being framed by the palm trees?! We stayed in the cottage called Long Cay...had our own walk way to the beach...no one passing in front of us...just a gorgeous view! Had the buffet breakfast almost... more

For the past ten years I have been traveling to harbor island. It’s a quick one-hour flight from my hometown Miami. I love Harbor Island! It has one of the best beaches in the world! And the “Brilanders” as the locals call themselves really are the friendly people. I have tried many different hotels on the island over the years... more

I just returned from spending 4 days at the Pink Sands in Harbour Island and am missing it terribly. When I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed with the open air lobby and fell in love with the shell accentuated chandeliers and dark woodwork. It was very open and inviting. I was surprised at how friendly and hospitable the... more

This was our first trip to Harbour Island and we found the town was quaint with very friendly residents. We stayed in the Bimini Cottage at Pink Sands. It is a nice two bedroom cottage with a great view and easy access to the beach. It does require some attention. The living room ceiling fan did not work, there is... more

The beach is beautiful but the resort is dated and the rooms are dark and in desperate need of refurbishment. For over $700 a night we had a toilet that didn't flush, cracked floors in the bedroom and old hard towels. Definitely not what we're used to from our previous vacations! We found Quince, the reservations manager, particularly rude and... more

Just spent five nights at Pink Sands with my husband and here is the lowdown... POSITIVES Beach - yes, it's pink and long and beautiful. The tide does bring in seaweed but the resort rakes it up each morning. The water can be calm or choppy depending on the winds, but beautifully clean and blue. Beach chairs and umbrellas plentiful... more
