There are many things that make Chez Pierre a great resort. It's own private beach cove; the former 3 star Michelin rated chef who serves up the best food on the island bar none (if not some of the best food period); and if the setting and food weren't enough- this place should top the list of environmentally friendly resorts.... more

We spent 5 nights at Chez Pierre and felt (overall) that it was a very good value. We paid $150 per night, which includes breakfast and dinner for 2 people. The cabins on the beach are cute, with just the basics that we needed. It was very clean and comfortable, with a screened-in porch facing the beach. The setting is... more

This place is special. We expected a room as descibed on the web page, good food, great beaches, turquoise waters and just a relaxing time. And that is exactly what we got! In fact we stayed during low season and there was not much going on .. which made it even better. The island is beautiful, but do not expect... more

Very Nice place. Too bad Pierre runs it. Guy is an incredible tool. Would I do the eco-tour again? Probably. But not at Pierre's place, I don't think. It is a beautiful place. Certainly don't entertain going there if you're a Vegan. Pierre will not be pleased by your limiting his artist's brush. Our Vegan friend felt his sarcastic ire... more

We (married couple, 44/43 years old) just got back from our second vacation at Chez Pierre, Long Island. We have already been there two weeks in June 2007 as the only guests in those two weeks, it was just Pierre and us. We had the whole bay to ourselves and all footprints on the long, horseshoe shaped beach were ours...... more

On departure day from Smith and Wells Bonefishing Lodge, four Canadian fishermen rented a car to explore Long island a bit, and have lunch at Chez Pierre, previously visited - but not eaten at - by two of our number (their fifth trip to Smith and Wells). Food was flat out fabulous. I - foolishly - asked for salt and... more

Long Island and Chez Pierre's were unforgettable. best food on the island (except fresh cracked conch) and one of the best locations (leeward side about halfway up). the road to the resort leaves a lot to be desired, but it makes the place that much more memorable. take insect repellant because if it rains you will have no-see-ums biting you... more

My husband and I enjoy exploring different islands. There are so many out there, we’ve never been to the same one twice. Until we found Chez Pierre. Our second trip, just 13 months later, was as good as the first. We are not high maintenance people. We look for small islands with secluded, economical accommodations. If you are looking to... more

This resort is a rustic gem. If you want to completely unplug and relax away from everything in an eco-friendly, natural beach setting, not pay a lot of money, AND indulge in five star cuisine every night then try Chez Pierre's. Your accommodations are simple, clean, screened in cabins that overlook a beautiful beach with turquoise water. At night you... more
