My wife and I, as well as another couple had the good fortune to stay here for a week in Aug./07.
The cottage was perfect. Well appointed, comfortable, Very clean.Everything you could want or need was provided. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck. Incredible night sky's. As well as peace and quiet.
Just a short drive up to Pleasant Bay for some wale watching, Saw three pods of pilot whales....very close.
An easy walk down the road to fine dinning, just off the beach.We also had the folks at the restaurant boil up some fresh lobsters for us to take back to the cottage for a feast.
This was also a perfect place to do the Cabot Trail from.We did the Cabot Trail then back to the cottage via Bedeck.
I would also like to point out that on the morning that we where to leave, a nasty storm rolled in, and in the high winds one of the motorcycles toppled over. The owners of this cottage , Peter & Joan went to unbelievable lengths to locate people to repair my... more
