You walk into this place and you're amazed. It's really gorgeous. Modern, yet rustic. They obviously put a lot of time an effort into the first floor. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He even upgraded our room which was a wonderful surprise since we showed up looking and smelling like backpackers.

Also, there isn't a TV in the room (which I agree might not be in keeping with the feel of the hotel), neither are there other things you might expect such as Kleenex. There are only the very basics such as soap. The hotel room felt quite spare. Also, the sound proofing could be better.

Breakfast is included, and it's amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel, and it was superb. Both breakfast and dinner was from a buffet. What a buffet! Great choices, and they made sure to include lots of traditional Norwegian food you might not get to taste...
