Being this was our, my husband and I and our dear friends, first visit to the Highlands, we of course searched for a special place! One that would really fulfil our every expectation; great location, luxury, cosy atmosphere, etc. After quite a search (I was very picky :)...) we found Millness Croft... The website made for a very good first... More

There is nothing bad you can say about Millness Croft. Beautiful cottage, lovely scenery, etc The owner,Neil, is incredibly accomodating, to the point of putting some outdoor toys in the enclosed garden for our two children. The cottage is warm and cosy and very well equipped. Go - you will not be dissapointed. Also make sure you got to Urquhart... More

Spent the first week of Nov in Chisholm cottage and from the minute you walk in the door you get the wow factor. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need.We had amazing weather sun every day and even temperatures as high as 17 which enhanced the many trips we made.We visited Ullapool,Plockton,Fort Augustus,Inverness,Urghart Castle,Plodda falls,Affric Glen... We spent just under a week in Chisholm in October, it's a very well appointed cottage, very warm, clean and all that you would ever need for self catering break. Attention to detail on all the furnishings. The location is ideal for exploring the local countryside, we had a days walking in Glen Affric and another locally. Inverness is less... More

I find it odd that the (admittedly) very small minority of people who don't give these properties high marks comment on the fact that there is a road close by and that the properties are relatively close together. Both of these facts are undoubtedly true but there is nothing to stop them doing what we did and asking all the... More

This was our 6th visit to Millness Croft and we stayed in the Chisholm Cottage. Everything was perfect (as usual). It is such a relaxing place to visit and you have everything you could wish for (and more). It is lovely to come home to such a cosy cottage at the end of a full day out and put the... More

Words cannot begin to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Milness Croft this summer. We (myself, husband and 2.5 year old) had an idyllic week cooking, walking, sightseeing and generally relaxing in and around Glen Urqhuart. To call this place family friendly is an understatement, but it would also be a great hideaway for couples and outdoorsy sorts... More

We have just spent a wonderful week at Millness Croft. The cottage was everything we expected and more. It was spotlessly clean and was extremely well equipped. There was also everything you would need for babies and children. This was pre-booked though! My two year old enjoyed the big bag of toys and books but appreciated the outdoor toys even... More

We had an amazing time at Grant Cottage. If you want a holiday cottage that provides comfort, amazing scenery, peace and quiet and plenty of wildlife you will not go wrong here. The owner Neil was so welcoming and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The cottage was spotless and catered to all our needs and we have never... More

We had a lovely peaceful week at Grant cottage. Our children (8 & 9) thoroughly enjoyed messing about with nets in the burn and rambling over the spacious grounds. The cottage was clean and cosy and well equipped. We saw lots of wildlife and had some good trips out - horse riding at both Borlum and Cougie, white water rafting... More
