This B&B is a beautiful, old house set within a large garden, where cream teas are served under the gazebo. The house has lovely traditional features whilst also have modern comforts. The rooms are so comfortable and the top price room we were upgraded to was absolutely luxurious, with views over the garden. All rooms have a small complimentary mini-bar, towels, bath robes, shower gel, tv, DVD etc. Judith was so friendly and helpful. This was definitely great value for money at just £80.

Grantchester is a tiny village just over a mile from Cambridge so I would certainlyy recommend staying here next time you're visiting. There's a beautiful river walk into the city, a tea garden and a couple of pubs.

We traveled to Cambridge to participate in our son's graduation. This is a very busy time at the University and accommodation can be very expensive. Our son found a lovely, reasonably priced B&B for us in Grantchester just down the road from Cambridge. In fact it was a nice walk into Cambridge along the Cam River. Judith the operator was very accommodating. Every morning saw us having the finest English Breakfast. In the afternoon tea was on with scones and cream. Our room was lovely and airy. The gardens were beautiful. There is a nieghbourhood pub ,The Red Lion, just around the corner where excellent victuals are available. There is a meadow just behind where locals picnic. This was an excellent base for us to participate in the graduation events. The home is ancient with a thatched roof, very "historical"! more
