Hang a right just off the ring road near Ross and head down to Hoarwithy. Red Rail is just past the village sign. We knew before we had parked the car this was going to be something special... A knight in armour and a BBC dalek ( a gold one indeed) to name but two of the wonderful finishing touches... More

We stayed in the Alice room for three nights in April. We received a warm welcome from Andy & Steph. Their home is stunning and our room didn't disappoint: very clean, very stylish and very comfortable with a wonderful walk in shower room. Breakfast each morning was beautifully cooked and we loved the views of fields and horses from our... More

We have just had a fabulous 2 night break at Red Rail Farm and it was wonderful. Beautiful rooms and very clean. The farm house is to die for with fabulous grounds. Steph and Andy were the ideal hosts, extremely welcoming and the breakfast was divine! We didn't want to leave. Walter the horse was lovely. Thank you Steph and... More

We booked our room at Red Rail on the recommendation of another B&B and are very happy we did. As cyclists going to a wedding in the village we were perfectly accommodated for. Breakfasts were lovely, service was friendly and genuine, our rooms were spotless and we had a perfect first weekend away from our young family. The decor in... More

We arrived at Red Rail with great expectations due to the high praise it had received from a number of other reviewers. We were not disappointed in the slightest. Steph and Andy (the owners) could not be more helpful or accommodating, at every turn they were asking us if there was anything else that they could do for us or... More

Really friendly and accommodating hosts who catered for our every need including my girlfriend's dietary requirements, which made the whole stay just that little bit more special. We stayed in the Poppy room for 3 nights and it could not have been better! It was finished to a very high standard and was kitted out with everything we might have... More

We had a lovely one night stay at this beautiful B&B. We were warmly welcomed by Stephanie (despite having broken her collarbone that morning!) and Andy. Is there anything they have not thought of? We stayed in "Poppy" and it was most comfortable and the whole place is absolutely idyllic. Breakfast was delicious and we were made to feel at... More
