we stayed 3 nights here with our two kids, took two rooms and a bit pricey for what were two quite basic rooms and one very small. Nice and clean though. The pub is a proper one with nice views from the garden and plenty of good walking near by, We took our jack russel with us and he was... More

Enjoyed the pub(nice log fire).viewed food menu and expensive for a standard pub.the fish was not fresh and frozen packet type.also couldn't pay 7.50 for cold sandwich so choose chicken burger for nine pounds.wow.it was a sparrow from Bernard Matthews.deep fried over cooked with paprica mayo(joke, I couldn't find it).shame cos I liked the place and owners were quite friendly... We stayed two nights in the B&B. B&B bit expensive for what was a small room,(No 2) but your paying for the atmosphere and character of the place. Room was also recently done out i think. We ate both nights in the pub, once in the extension which has lovely views to the sea, one in the old part of... More

The Bush Inn is a few hundred yards down an old farm road from the south coast path, and a welcoming sight after a long day of walking. Staff was so friendly. Room is average, but clean and quiet. The pub atmosphere was wonderful. The restaurant served great food. Highly recommend staying here.

A lazy late lunch on Easter Sunday afternoon, tucked into a nice table for six by the fire, turned out to be pretty agreeable. We all had the roast and no complaints. The beer was good and a nice selection of ciders cheered up the youngsters in the party. Worth a visit for sure.

I went to this pub about 6 years ago and it was fantastic then. Having returned to Bude for a holiday this April, I decided to take my Partner and daughter there for dinner in hope it would still be as good as I remembered. Well I was not dissappointed! We all had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the lovely... More

We were staying in a holiday cottage in the village and The Bush Inn was recommended to us. We were not disappointed!!! Great steak and good choice of beers. Family friendly and lovely staff. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Having walked all day along a small part of the Cornish Coastal Footpath we were heading towards afternoon tea at a nearby tearoom. However, finding that closed for the Winter we then tried the Bush Inn. What a lovely pub and we enjoyed afternoon tea and warm scones which were excellent! Staying locally at the lovely Moore Cottage in Woodford... More

We had been told that the food was superb especially the Sunday lunch. We went the first time on a Friday night and the food was disappointing. My partner had "award winning" sausage and mash which left him wondering which award it had won as it really was not anything special and I had the steak and ale pie which... More
