I know Weipa is remote but that is not an excuse to offer second rate facilities. The cabin I stayed had seen better days; it hadn't had a proper clean... Ever!. There were no proper chairs even to sit on! The smoke detector was disconnected and lay on top of the fridge. Living in the remote tropics is a challenge... More

The camping ground is budget accommadation place offering place for camping and different dongas.The basic dongas does not offer much but the better ones include own kitchen and some own showers.some even has a beachfront views. the dongas are far far away from any luxurious place but atleast the linens are clean.So if youre only staying for couple night and...
