I am a travel agent who specializes in Irish travel and am certified by Tourism Ireland as a Shamrock Club member. I have had the good fortune of visiting Ireland 19 times, and each time, there seems to be that one place or one person that stands out above the already mighty rest. At Springview I found both the one... More

We wanted to stay in this B&B. Seeing the pictures in the Internet and in comparison with the price we thought to get the same standard as in the rest of Ireland. Instead the room was very dirty and cobwebbed everywhere. We found old beer mats and crown caps and a lot of dust under the beds. The towles in... More

We received a very warm & friendly welcome, we were given a nice hot cup of tea & warm scones with jam. We enjoyed a very nice visit with Eileen then we were taken to our room which was very clean, cozy & had a great view out the back window over looking the farm. What a nice place to... More

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely B and B and were treated like family. The room was lovely with a large bathroom and very comfy beds. Eileen and Michael are great hosts, with a great sense of humour and twinkling Irish eyes. BREAKFAST IS HUGE and you are always being offered food, be it a sandwich ,scones or made... More

A group of us stayed here recently while working in the area. I've never stayed in a B&B like it in my life! We were desperately late in arriving but were still welcomed with offers of food and tea and beds with the electric blankets on at full power to make sure we weren't cold. It's a big solid traditional... More

Eileen, was the consumate hostess. Before arriving at Springview, we had an unfortuntate experience and Eileen's cheerful, warm welcome erased all of the gray clouds. Food was bountiful and excellent. We met other lovely travelers and all agreed Eileen provided a most delightful experience. Very close to Kilkenny and Cashel. We stayed two heavenly evenings. We will be back!

If you are looking for an experience in a quiet, beautiful area SpringView is a place to go. This 200 year old farmhouse is so lovely with very inviting rooms and nice size bathrooms. It is a working dairy farm and immaculate inside and out. Mrs. Joyce greeted us with tea and cakes and her breakfast was delicious. It is... More
