Im a veteran mexico traveler and manage my expectations accordingly. Eighty bucks a night. Strong smell of human waste, noisy banging and pumps all night. Indifferent front desk staff. Much better values exist elsewhere... more
We just got back from our vacation in La paz and we always stay at the Crown Plaza which has changed to the grand and it is awful, what a disappointment we did stay at the Palmira and we were not happy there, the buffett is good, they have opened a new night club and your walls bang all night... more
We've stayed at the Palmyra for the last four years, and this year will be our last. New management, terrible attitudes, threadbare accomodations and terrible maintenance--the ubiquitous birdcages are seldom cleaned--add up to a very poor experience. There are now many excellent tourist hotels in La Paz. Sadly, this isn't one of them any longer. more
