We were there in May 2012 two nighs. The location is good. The city is quite small so everything seems to be close. They had a good breakfast and the coffee was strong enough not american coffe. The beds were hard but they have been in other places in Mexico also. The internet worked on the first day but second... More

We found this B&B just walking through La Paz in search of a place to stay, and we are glad we did. This place is very charming and quiet. The rooms are very clean with recently remodeled bathrooms and showers in the rooms. The location is just 1-2 easy blocks away from the Malecon and 5 blocks Avenida 16 de... More

I traveled to La Paz last week as part of an annual 200+ motorcycle rally from Cabo San Lucas to Loreto. Having stayed at Perla the year before I definitely wanted to find something more charming and more interesting for my money. After "googling" around a bit I came across the Casa Al Centro Inn and decided to give it... More

Two big thumbs up for Casa Al Centro Inn. Egidio and Christina are wonderful hosts and we found the Inn charming and spotless. Our huge bedroom was beautifully decorated and our private second floor patio was a great place to sit and relax and listen to the sounds of La Paz. Breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented. Located a short... More

The property is ideally located about 1-1/2 blocks from the Malecon. The proprietor, Egidio, is engaging, helpful and makes a fantastic breakfast. While not fancy, the place is clean and highly recommended.

We were staying in La Paz for one night to swim with the whale sharks then continue on to Cabo Pulmo to snorkel and dive.I booked "Centro" sight unseen on Expedia which is very unusual for me.I usually plumb the depths of tripadvisor before booking anything but as we were only staying one night I was more concerned about cost.... Our recent one-week stay could not have been better. Egidio and Christina were super hosts. This B&B is a newly renovated house (summer '11) so paint, furniture, toilets, sinks, beds, bedding, air conditioners, etc. are all new. Plenty of hot water, but be careful to adjust it to prevent scalding. The location is perfect for those carless in La Paz.... More

As a returning customer I was treated to Egidio's zucchini fritatta and Christina's home make bread. A new addition to "Centro" is a fridge stocked with bottled water for their clients.
