I didn't know Casa Buena I was dierected there from another hotel which couldn't accommodate me and it was such a nice warm place that I decide to stay there in my last days in La Paz. My room was huge with a kitchenett which I never used but would avoid spending money on a restaurant in case you didn't... More

We planned to spend two nights we end up staying four. We wanted clean, air condition, close to malecon with secured parking for our rental car - we found it at Casabuena. It's a cool relaxed place to chill and relax after a busy day exploring and eating our way through La Paz. Breakfast was plentiful, cereals, breads, coffee, tea,... More

This is the second time my dad and I have stayed here on our short term missions trips to La Paz. Both times were great! Nothing like coming back from a long day at the work site and taking a HOT shower and relaxing in the commons room/kitchen. Milton and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Casabuena is clean... Like an oasis in the middle of a desert. Most definitely a true pet friendly place to stay. Beautiful landscaping invites you in as soon as you enter the yard. The common room is a great gathering place to meet your fellow travelers and have a coffee and chat. Within walking distance of the malecon. A truly wonderful place to... More

This place is perfect for people who like it familiar! My husband and me spend a week there and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are cosy and clean, all of them with a privat bathroom. In the morning everybody meets in the big american-style-kitchen. There´s always a hot coffee waiting for you and a simple but good breakfast (cereals,... More

Spent 3 nights at Casa Buena with friends and loved everything about the place, from the funky plumbing, to the yellow lab swimming in the pool with us, to the great selection of books. Very secure, and most of all a great gathering place for fellow travelers, who enjoy getting away from glitzy hotels. The owners are friendly, accommodating, and... More

Our group recently passed through La Paz going to and coming from a short term mission trip north of La Paz. Thirteen of us stayed one night on the way there and two nights on our return trip. What a wonderful and inviting place. You get a mix of true rustic Baja and pure down home hospitality. Milton, Susu and... More

My husband and I live in Baja, but needed to made an unexpected trip to LaPaz for just an overnighter. Casabuena was recommended to us, as we were looking for a quiet, rustic, conveniently located, dog-friendly B & B, or small hotel. Casabuena Bed and Breakfast is all that in one! Milton and SuSu answered our questions and we felt... More

We stayed here for two nights before taking the ferry across from La Paz to Mazatlan on our way home from San Diego. The owners are friendly and relaxed and set a nice, warm, comfortable atmosphere which I found really appealing. Our dog was welcome and got along really well with their two golden Labradors. Our first room had a... More

We only stayed for two nights as we drove to Loreto flying out of La Paz. Milton, the owner, was probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I truly felt like I was at home- especially after our 5 hour return trip from Loreto. As others have mentioned, this place is by no means a resort, but for... More
