Our first time in Loreto and we arrived at Coco Cabanas to be promptly greeted by co-owner Stephen. It was the beginning of the best vacation we have had. The facility was immaculate, the staff friendly and responsive. We were given advice on what trips were available, but nothing was pushed on us. If we wanted to go on a... more

We had never visited Mexico before and weren't quite sure what to expect so it was great to stay in such a lovely venue. Stephen made us feel very welcome and shared his local knowledge of the small town. My husband was diving for four days of our stay so I was keen to go on a couple of day... more

Barrett was a very affable and helpful host. When we were unable to book a second night's stay because he had no vacancies, he drove us to another establishment with our luggage and helped us secure a booking there. more

While the weather was a little cooler (60's and 70's) this week, the pool was wonderfully warm (87 / 88). I've expressed my happiness and satisfaction with Coco Cabanas and the Scalapino family... more

My wife and I spent January 8-10 at Coco Cabanas and found it to be as advertised. Most of the guests would spend some time around the pool talking and we met some interesting travellers. Barrett, the owner, is a straightforward guy who makes sure that the property is maintained daily. The downtown is about 6 blocks away with shops... more

Barrett and Stephen are great hosts. Very upfront guys. I have never been anywhere that brings you clams and fish for free to grill yourself. They have clean gas BBQ's to use at no charge. They also give you a tree ripe mango or two. The Cabanas are very clean with excelent kitchenettes. The pool is clean. The fishing captains... more

My husband and I have stayed with owners Barrett and Steve and... more
